Somewhere, Over the Rainbow

It all began with the rainbow I saw on flickr ages ago. It made me smile. A lot. 

Then this season Charlotte Free had me lusting after the bottle of dye at Topshop Unique & Marchesa. She's got that Abbey Lee Kershaw mixed with Lara Stone thing going on.

 Not helped by Thakoon's SS 2012 delicious-looking manes.

Some gals really can pull it off, think Natalie Portman in Closer and Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation. If at all, I think I'll dip my toe in and have the various shades of pinks highlights I sported a decade ago at university. I do love the full-on look, though.

I found this beauty on AnOther's Lovers. It is a Urania Ripheus, aka the Sunset Moth. Very apt for my previous Seenigama Sunset post.

There is something that facinates me about moths, even more so than butterflies. Their wings are like the thinest of paper and I love their understated delicacy. I'm off to get my colouring pencils out.
